INSPIRE CELEBRATE COMMEMORATE
North Queensland’s distinctive Chinese culture, history, objects, and stories.

Construction is currently underway for Queensland’s first Chinese Culture and Heritage Centre in Cairns. Located in the cultural precinct of Cairns near Centenary Lakes, the Centre will house the nationally significant Lit Sung Goong temple collection, and serve as a gateway to the Far North Queensland (FNQ) Chinese heritage trail. It will support research into Chinese history in the region and Chinese and serve as a hub for exhibitions, performances, research and community events.
CADCAI greatly acknowledge the support of the Queensland Government funding towards this project.
